Avoiding/procrastination is my FORTE

I don't plan to avoid or procrastinate, honestly!

It seems to me that it just happens. I know I have something that has to be done by a deadline and I wait and wait and wait. Then, I get super anxious as that deadline approaches. Forcing me to get on the ball and get er' done and at the same time, I work better under pressure. So, subconsciously I continue to think this is the way I "need" to live my life. Oh, contrar!

Today I have a group paper deadline and I feel so frustrated and annoyed. I despise the class I am taking but yet I know I need it for my professional and personal life. It is Financial Concepts for Managers, since my major is BSHS/Management(Bachelors of Science in Human Services/Management) I should say. I am finding it so hard to concentrate let alone get anything done.

So, here I am writing this blog and doing laundry at the same time, with my tv on low volume in the back. I always have to have something turned on for background noise. The silence is deafening to me, then I really can't complete what I need to complete.

Things I have done today

1. Got up, got showered and dressed.
2. Went to the bank
3. Went to my parent's house and watched a movie, visited w/ my siblings.
4. Came home, got on the computer.
5. Took laundry to basement to wash
6. About to go back down to do more laundry

I still have a ton of stuff to do
1. Research for group paper
2. Write my portion of paper(This will be simple once I have the research)
3. Finish Laundry
4. Move my car around because of timed parking
5. Clean my kitchen
6. Call Joe to see how his Doctor's appt went.

And I am completely drained. So, here is to all the students and full time workers out there.. I feel your pain! Keep pushing along, you will make it!

Peace

I'm a procrastinator too, I need a bit of pressure to complete projects.

Honestly I'm not surprised that you need background noise, think about how loud it always was growing up!

Thanks for sharing what's up w/you!
