In remembrance of Shirley Nye

My Grandma Shirley left this world on October 13, 1995 and though it has been 14 years, it still feels like yesterday that I was talking to her and visiting her for holidays in Tucson, AZ. My Aunt, Jen, just sent me old pictures. Here are some of them.

Here is Grandma and my older brother in 1982 according to Jen. Considering I was young, I will talk her word for it. :o)

This is a pic of my Grandma and me when I was 2 years old. My Grandma had many talents. She was an artist, she painted beautiful, exquisite landscape pictures of the desert and many other things. She was a great cook, loving Mother, Sister, Grandma, Wife, and daughter.
I miss her everyday but I know that one day I will see both her and my Grandpa again and that makes me happy. I am happy that they are now together in Heaven.

Here is a picture of my grandparents

I will forever remember you as the lovely, artistic, warm person that you were Grandma. You are always in my heart and I love you!
