I read Meredith's blog and she suggested this site to read, which is why I am reposting the suggestion: http://amylovesdamon.blogspot.com/
I wanted to make a list of my many blessings:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
My Redeemer and Savior, Jesus Christ

My Family
My Mom and Dad
Good friends that are here for me, even though they are miles away.
My puppy, Fiona
I wanted to say my thanks to have a fantastic parental unit! My Mom is great and is always believing in me.
I am thankful for that because what kid doesn't want to have their parent's approval and faith??
My Dad- he has always had a wonderful sense of humor and has always been able to bring my life back into perspective which I love. Especially in times of need and when I feel like everything is in vain.
This is the most recent pic of my Father that I have. It was at my little sister, Sarah's graduation from Seattle University. I am so proud of her, even though she will probably be mad that I posted this pic.
I am grateful for the roof over my head, the food to eat, the job I have-even though I despise my work environment...
I am thankful for okay days when my illness is in check and I am at a happy medium.
I am super thankful for education and for the ability to learn new things and better myself on a daily basis.
My faith- if you are lacking in faith, one should read this scripture: "And as I have said concerning faith- Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if you have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true" (Alma 32:21). This scripture has gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life. It has helped me to know that one way or the other, if I am faithful and keep the commandments and be all I can be, that Heavenly Father will always be there.
My loving Heavenly Father
Joseph Smith- I admire the prophet for bringing the restored gospel into this world. With all he went through to translate the Book of Mormon and to baptise and organize our church, I stand in awe of Joseph Smith daily.

My blessings outweigh my trials, although when I am going through the major trials, it is hard to see this. School is difficult because of the out of pocket expenses and trying to figure this out and not lose my mind in the process.
I dread going to work on a daily basis, but, I also know that if I continue to work hard with my studies and graduate in April, that I can get a new job and be happier.
Right now my trial is getting healthy. Having the surgery on my sinuses so that I can feel better and not so grumpy/cranky will be a major blessing. More updates on this after my appointment on 10/26.
It is my hope that all my readers will look at their lives and list off all their blessings. "Count your blessings, name them one by one... Count your blessings, see what God has done"(Church Hymn)!

Wow, that made me tear up a little, both your post and the other lady's. It's true, we can always count our blessings in the middle of any sorrow or trial we are experiencing. Maybe I should do the same.
Michelle,
You are amazing! I'm in tears. You are such a wonderful example to me of faith and strength and love and courage and wonderfulness! You have such a sweet spirit and I just want you to know how much you bless my life...even if it's through cyberspace! Like you, I think your parents are pretty awesome too!
Awww, thanks for the kind words and thoughts guys! I do appreciate it. It seems to me when I am feeling inspired, that I need to write more things down to benefit those around me.
Love you all,
Michelle
